• Highway: 17–18 kmpl at 100+ kmph

Why it's special

Unlike most cars, the Hycross hybrid is more efficient in the city than on the highway — the electric motor handles low-speed crawling. An instrumented test by v3cars found 13.07 kmpl city / 17.37 highway under hard test conditions, but gentle real owners beat that comfortably.

The verdict

The 23.24 claim is optimistic, but 18–20 in real city use for a 7-seater this size is genuinely exceptional — no diesel MPV comes close. If you drive 15,000+ km/year, the hybrid premium pays for itself in fuel alone.
